Yoga is an ancient set of beliefs in the Hindu, Buddhist and Jainist traditions that seeks spiritual discipline. In the West, the spiritual aspect of yoga is less understood; it is better known as the physical practice of certain postures or asanas. Yoga has many applications and philosophies, including strengthening muscles, relaxation, increasing energy, improving stretching, and expanding thinking. Anyone can practice yoga, from asana practice to meditation to breathing exercises.

Yoga for me is discipline of the senses, mental clarity, elevated thinking, vivid perception, revealing the divine nature and innate original wisdom, the ability to let go and accept, control without controlling, freedom from limitations, freedom of mind and movement, the ability to create your own world, a way to get rid of the effects of not good karma, practice ecstatic states and mystical revelations, art of living in the flow with one awareness of the higher harmony of the world in yet uncorrected beauty.
